CLINICAL SUPERVISION & CONSULTATION

Clinical Supervision

I am an Approved Supervisor in the State of Oregon and am in the process of completing my supervisory application in California.

I believe early-career therapists need strong, supportive supervision to build a solid clinical foundation. While our work together will enhance your clinical skills, we’ll also address the broader systemic issues that shape our field—including institutional dysfunction, vicarious trauma, privilege, oppression, and cultural awareness. My supervision approach integrates the Discrimination Model and Person of the Therapist Model, always considering your development, competency, and personal growth.

I also recognize the importance of creating a safe, supportive space for clinicians to explore their own mental health. Supervision isn’t just about clinical expertise—it’s about helping you navigate ethical complexities, self-of-the-therapist work, and professional identity development.

Specialties & Approach

My clinical expertise includes eating disorders, complex PTSD, attachment wounds, and neurodivergence, with a specific focus on ADHD. I draw from IFS/parts work, ACT, EMDR, and Polyvagal Theory to support long-term, sustainable healing rather than short-term symptom management.

Note: I am not a CEDS Supervisor or EMDRIA-Certified.

You will likely be a good fit for supervision with me if:

You are an experienced licensed clinician looking for clinical support and mentorship to specialize in treating eating disorders and understanding complex trauma, with a strong desire to become proficient in a Health at Every Size (HAES) and non-diet approach.

You are interested in learning how to approach trauma and eating disorders from an parts-work lens that is rooted in self-compassion AND the current research into the impact of the nervous system on long-term healing.

You are a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking to build confidence, develop skills, and acquire evidence-based knowledge to expand your work in the eating disorders field, while remaining committed to providing safe and ethical care.

Peer Consultation

I offer peer consultation for licensed therapists seeking additional support in working with eating disorders, complex trauma, and attachment challenges.

Growth and self-reflection are just as important for clinicians as they are for our clients. Eating disorder and complex trauma work require us to examine our own beliefs about body image, health, and the lasting impact of childhood experiences on emotional development. These areas of care often demand specialized knowledge that isn’t fully covered in graduate programs or traditional clinical settings but is essential for effective treatment.

For clinicians looking to expand into eating disorder and complex trauma work, peer consultation provides a space to deepen your understanding, challenge preconceptions, and build confidence before—or while—taking on clients in these areas.
