I offer peer consultation for licensed and pre-licensed therapists that are looking for additional support in learning how to work with eating disorders and complex trauma/attachment complexities.

My whole approach to care is focused around learning to grow and challenge ourselves, which applies to therapists and clinicians as much as it applies to our clients. Eating disorder and attachment/complex trauma work are two areas of care that require us to learn about ourselves and be willing to really challenge our pre-conceived perspectives about body image, health, how childhood experiences affect emotional development - ETC. Both fields can also require some extra knowledge that graduate school and typical private practice/treatment facility settings may not address, but are incredibly common and important areas of care. Clinicians that are interested in branching into eating disorder and complex trauma care may want to deepen their learning with peer consultation prior to/in conjunction with accepting new clients struggling in these areas.
